Event Rewards don't give a sense of Agency or Impact

I'm appreciative of the Event rewards, however the manner in which they're unlocked/presented is kinda detached from the game entirely (in the sense it's unnoticeable), or just more of the same while not really having any impactful decisions.

The Tome unlocks are just going through another tome, and the choice is which one you want first.

The Energy unlocks are seemingly randomly unlocked, easily skipped when going to another match, and unless on a character you play, irrelevant.

I'm still a proponent for how the cosmetics were handled for The Hallowed Blight Event.

You had a limited amount of event currency to purchase only a subset of the event outfits before another staple currency needed to be used, and this purchasing was done on its own UI screen. You had an event currency that accrued over the course of matches, that was then able to be used on a screen you had to purposely navigate to, and were offered a choice between a subset of the offerings to pick what you wanted to unlock via event gameplay and what you'd be fine locking behind another currency.

IMO probably would have made it so that collected event energy could be used to purchase 1 of the following for survivor: Mummy Dwight/Kate Crow/Barista Girl?

and then one of the following for Killer: Swamp Thing Hag/Wesker is licensed.../Was there only the Swamp Hag that was an original Halloween event cosmetic?

The remaining Major cosmetics being able to be purchased with shards/cells, your choice having been made.

The minor cosmetics would be purchasable with Energy at all times on said UI screen (which could also be used to track the unlocks in an easier fashion than relying on a fan-made checklist).
