Offering system is in a sad state.
Spending 15 minutes using the bloodweb it dawned on me how barebones the offering system has remained since 2016, A bulk of the offerings have been retired, leaving some players with a page full of useless items. There is so much gameplay that could come from the system instead of being just a tool for SWF to abuse most of the time or event fodder.
45-55% of every web is mostly offerings, Which is weird since you don't burn through offerings like you do addons, Killers using 2 addons and survivors burning through items and addons. Most of the offerings don't impact gameplay like a item/power addon or perk. Each time a new chapter gets added with a map the pool of map offerings you can get is diluted. Along with being full of filler offerings(Cut/Shiny coin, Luck, Common BP Boosts. The blueprints just made things even worse.
Buying BP Boosts and playing them are just a weird tax, All the current BP boosts could be tied to current offerings, Most of the lower rarity offerings I would never use.
-Increasing the Dark Mist could give Devious/Survival BP boost, Decreasing it giving a Hunter/Boldness.
-Cut Coin giving deviousness boost for killers and Shiny coin giving objective boost.
-Hook offerings giving Sacrifice and Altruism BP boosts.
Small simple things to reduce the bloated system. Event offerings have no reason to even be offerings, they should just be tied to the event itself.
Another issue I feel isn't talk about much is the Dark Mist, I don't see how it impacts the game at all, On my computer I can barely see it on most maps and on others(daytime maps) it looks out of place being too dark and wispy. The dark mist should be something more pronounced and thick like the fog in Garden of Joy map, Instead of a stealth killer having to burn a indoor map to have a little fun, they can get the same out of a foggy map where the survivors can't 360 look around the map and see the killer dozens of yards away trotting around, the trapper and hag would benefit from better dark mist too.
The luck offering has gotta go, It's just bad game design, You can't tell what it does from a glance, it also baits people into suiciding on hook.
The offering system should be fun, Right now it's just not doing that for me.
