how do i tell if someone's scripting auto dead hard?
i keep running into the same feng player today, like i would tail her for like 3-5s right behind her and she would always get the timing perfect, she would scream half the time like she got downed yet somehow she'll always perfectly fine.
feeling paranoid af when i'm just trying to enjoy the event. sick of people trying to ruin the game for everyone.

There are a few ways to trigger auto DH when no sane person would ever DH normally. For example if you suspect someone has it, get in range and make it obvious that you will lunge in a different direction. Don't hit them, just whiff. If they still DH you have your answer. Also when they drop a pallet press M1 to hit the pallet. Because you technically should be in range for a lunge their auto DH will activate if they are running. The second one works for me pretty well because they seem to love spinning behind the pallet.
if they drop a pallet while injured, smack the pallet when theyre on the other side. a script will dead hard bc its based off proximity and cant tell when theres objects between.
Hit them as they drop the pallet or vault the window is one way. I ran into Dwight yesterday who was using it. The first time I saw it was when I hit him right after he just finished animation for pallet drop. I thought it was fishy, so started to try and down him as he would drop the pallet or vault the window and dh came out perfect every time.
Well this isn't really relevant to most players, but blight is the best killer to bait out dh in the game.
Let's say you start you first rush close to a survivor, then you rush past them without hitting them (brushing past their hit box). At any point you can hit them and they have 0 indication or ability react to it. You also if in the right position can repeat this 2 more times.
This auto trigger deadhard hack feels like it's rampant in the game at the moment. I come up against so many survivors that appear to have god like timing when using deadhard.
I just think the reworked perk is so badly designed from the viewpoint that it can be so easily masked when using a hack that it's virtually impossible to tell if it's scripted or not, unless you do one of the pallet lunges if you suspect it & even then it's still not sold evidence of hacking.
Old deadhard was so easy to bait out, especially in open areas. I just don't buy it that all these people who use deadhard have suddenly become gods at timing the new deadhard when it's supposed to be an inferior version of the perk.
