Lag?

So ever since the new update I’ve been receiving little spikes of lag/frame drops/whatever you want to call it every now and then specifically on the new maps and other stuff, compared to yesterday the game really doesn’t feel as smooth as it could be does anyone know the reason for this? Is it because of the optimization patch or what

    may be due to the patch dropping not too long ago that the servers need to "get used to" the new changes to the engine

    I see, thanks for the answer. Do you happen to know what exactly the new changes are because tbh im not really aware, though I don’t know if it’s just me but the graphics look much better I may be wrong

    The engine change changed the looks of maps, added some new contrast to the maps and fixed how some maps didn't load in properly, and made some maps look like potatos, and the change the servers are gonna feel, its normal to feel lag after updates, but it wont be long

    the only issue that could happen is if a hot patch occurs due to an issue mid release
