Why play Deathslinger when you can play Wesker?

Move faster. Much, much faster.

Get two "shots" back to back before "reloading."

Infect survivors, and either slow their movespeed or make them waste time cleansing.

Use pre-dropped pallets against survivors instead of being completely shut down.

Sure, you have a bigger terror radius and you can no longer injure a survivor through a tiny crack in the shack wall (if you're skilled enough), but that pales in comparison to the upsides.

    Wesker is not a ranged killer. Unless you consider demo a ranged killer too.

    Death slinger is a medium range killer and the other one i think it is Pyramid head.

    Technically the trickster is long range killer because the knives never stop being effective but who can deal 6 knives on long distance? Practically trickster is a medium range killer too.

    A better comparison than DS to Wesker, is DS to Pyramid Head, or Wesker to Nemesis.

    Because they don't play even slightly similarly and you may feel more like playing Deathslinger...?

    Comparisons in this community get really wild sometimes. Wesker is definitely better than Deathslinger in a very strict tier-list kind of way, but they aren't really directly comparable to one another.
