Reducing the extremity of RNG

There is a tremendous amount of RNG that can drastically affect this game. Examples: Initial spawn locations, tile spawn logic, gen locations, totem locations, etc. I am of the mindset that constraining the range of RNG extremes would go a long way for an improved gameplay experience where it's not whiplash from one game to the next.

For example:

  1. Reducing how strong tiles can spawn chained back-to-back in a way that is effectively an automatic time loss for most killers, but also reducing happenstances where maps can generate huge patches of nothing that is an automatic loss for survivors once hold W fails.
  2. Making the killer always spawn by some specific ruleset and the survivors by another. For example, killer always spawns center. Or end, whatever. Survivors always spawn (together/in pairs/whatever). Would reduce things like survivors spawning ridiculously close to a killer while also addressing issues like survivors being split up across the entire map.

While a degree of RNG can keep games feeling fresh and fun, I think there's a bit of an overabundance of it in this game, and in factors that I don't think people would be too aggrieved to see gone.
