Better in-game tips and tutorials
Other than solo queue’s lack of information, I think another point of frustration for many lesser-knowledged players is exactly that. The lack of helpful knowledge.
Many killers have unintuitive playstyles or counterplay that many people do not understand or know of well. Better tips and in-game tutorial stages would help with this tremendously. For example, against Plague:
"If you cleanse, do so far away from incomplete generators or in distant areas of the map to buy you and your team the most time if she wants to walk all the way there and back to get and use her Corrupt Purge."
Furthermore, tutorials as and against specific killers would be very helpful. For example, a survivor dummy at a LT tile, the killer player is Blight, the goal is to land a hit in 3 rushes or less. Or a Nurse dummy that attempts blinking to the survivor, and the survivor’s task is to successfully read and avoid 3 such attempts in a row. So on and so forth.
The ideal but difficult change would be allowing users to create and upload their own tutorial stages and vote on them, so people can play and try them out. Well-made ones would get voted up. For example, landing the timing for a flashlight save.
