Some killers need more spice

In my opinion there are some killers that are just like unseasoned food. BLAND. They could be way cooler and unique if they had some extra audio/visual cues (spices) to play with their victim's senses.

Here's my take on them and my opinions on what can be done:

Trickster:

He's a goddamn music superstar ! Where are the strobe lights ? The spotlight ? Where's the club music ? Imagine if there was constant club music while a Trickster is on the map (not at a very high volume to actually be annoying), something like the music in the movie Blade where he goes inside the vampire club or the rave from Samurai Jack. Also imagine on top of that, that when he gains bloodlust, the music turns up louder and the lights on the map start turning on and off just like strobe lights. Now that's what I call a true experience of playing against a superstar killer !

Clown :

He's a goddamn CLOWN !!! Where's the circus music ? Where are the balloons ? The party hats ? Imagine if the clown had a passive on top of his kit. Make his terror radius music global (not his actual terror radius), unless the survivors put on a party hat or attach an animal balloon to their belt (those could be found in any locker or in special places similar to the plague fountains), if they get hit, they drop the hat/balloon.

Artist:

Crows, her power revolves around crows, yet the crows on the map literally do nothing for her. The crows on the map should start flying around survivor's heads for a few seconds when disturbed, just like they do when players are afk

Nemesis:

His zombies are almost useless, make them gain movement speed when going towards infected survivors and give them a small terror radius as well

Deathslinger:

Wild wild west baby ! Deathslinger should have a chargeable passive that charges up based on how much he moves, when his passive is charged and he stops moving, a sound cue should play, something similar to those western movies at the beginning of a shootout between cowboys, survivors must freeze after they hear the sound cue, otherwise Deathslinger will see their aura for 2 seconds. (DBD version of Mannequin Challenge)

Pyramid Head:

Sirens, I want to hear the sirens from Silent Hill when playing against him. Kicking a gen makes that generator produce siren noises that muffle his terror radius music until someone starts repairing it again. Imagine that, you'll never know if he's entirely gone from that gen and if it's safe to start repairing it again, he might be just behind that rock ready to hit you through it when he hears the siren stop.

Legion:

Legion is supposed to blend in with the survivors. Make his model very similar to a survivor's and let him pretend to be working on a gen, while he does that, he benefits from stealth . Could make for some insanely fun mind games

Plague:

I'm very biased here, but the vomiting mechanic seems clunky, cleansing seems futile sometimes, the overall kit is just meh. When I think of a plague, I think about a slow death approaching like a toxic gas cloud. She should be able to leave a trail of dark mist with her censer behind her, this mist makes survivors cough and it should slowly build up entity progression on the ones that stay for too long in the trail. This would make her very unique since looping around an obstacle for a long time would mean that the survivor risks building up a lot of entity progression by looping into her mist continuously. She should also need to recharge her censor at the fountains, in order to make her less OP

  • Well... here goes nothing

Coding isn't BHVR's strong point so a lot of this can't happen until they recode the game

    • Trickster - I generally like the music in the game but, yeah, I'd love if his chase music were a little more "rave" and less "screech".
    • Clown - I would unironically pay for a DLC pack which changed his chase music to Yakety Sax. ๐Ÿ˜„

    • Artist - On a tangent, I really wish they'd change the sound effect for Spies From the Shadows to be crow calls. How much cooler would that be than the normal explosions? ๐Ÿ™‚
    • Nemesis: Actually Nemesis' Zombies are fairly good for tracking info. You see a zombie with its arms up and you immediately know a survivor is near there. It's kind of like Doctor's hallucinatory images that tell you where survivors are, except the two zombies have a slight chance of actually doing damage and if you intentionally herd chases toward them can help you zone the survivors into taking suboptimal routes. That all said, I do hope that when they implement bots this year that if those work well they consider importing the bot pathing to Nemesis' zombies so they don't get stuck as often.
    • Deathslinger - The main change I really want for Deathslinger is let him turn at normal speed while aiming. For some reason he's the only ranged killer in the game who significantly slows down his turning speed while charging his ranged attack. Everybody else slows their movement rate but they can still turn normally. Deathslinger though feels like he's turning through mud, it's kind of annoying.
    • Legion: Yeah, I don't think they intend for Legion to "blend in with the survivors", that's just the impression Legion's cinematic trailer gives but they clearly didn't set them up that way. That said, if they ever get the license for The Thing, then I would expect the killer to have two forms, a survivor form where they move like survivors and can "work" on generators, and a monster form for actual chases and attacks. (And before someone comes in with "but looking like a survivor won't fool people", don't forget that while in a form that imitates a survivor it's implied the killer is also Undetectable which all on its own makes it a decent ability. Looking like a survivor is really just window dressing for the Undetectability.)
