Rift challenges with perks make no sense

Does bhvr even know what their perks do?

For one moment I thought they know because they released challenges with perks that make sense

Example

One challenge says

Vault 6 windows while using the perk self care

Self care =healing vaulting = other perks

And also moving on with other perks

Now they have boon exponential

The challenge says

Escape through the exit gate one time while using the perk boon exponential

Boon exponential = recover from dying state faster and fully recover escaping = other perks

So what's the point

Did they just put it because jonah is in the rift?

If they wanted a challenge with that perk they could say

While using the perk boon exponential recover from the dying state by yourself 1 time or recover from the dying state a percentage is needed in one trial only

What's your thoughts

You probably know what j mean because since bhvr released those challenges with perks they really ducking up

Comments

  • Well I suppose that recover from dying state with boon ecponential is really situational.

  • I love that they nerfed Self Care so much that it hurts more than helps survivors and now have a challenge that has nothing to do with it because it's such a bad perk.

The problem is they want a challenge associated with the perks but they've made so many of the perks extremely situational or just really bad. Boon Exponential only works in situations where you've been slugged by the killer and near the boon you set up without the killer snuffing the boon before you can make use out of it. So instead it's escape through the exit gate because that is more likely to be done than picking yourself up with the boon.

I get they want to make challenges using the perks in the game to get players to try something they don't normally use but the problem is the perks aren't used for a reason - they aren't as useful or fun as the perks players go for.
