In-game surveys for better balance

Adding surveys into the game instead of advertising them on twitter or other platforms would make them more widely accessible as well as make giving out rewards or other types of compensation for using your time to fill them out easier.


Also adding surveys about what players think would be very beneficial.

Examples of this:

  • the pick rate of a perk is 1%, but players that are good in the game say it is extremely good
  • the kill rate of a killer is beneath 50% but players say that they are unfun to play against
  • a perk feeling mandatory to be used just to have fun
  • a killer being really fun to play against but really unfun to play


this would allow the devs to balance around fun more and not arbitrary stats that aren't telling the whole story. Just because a perk or character is balanced does not make them enjoyable to play against.


I would love to have surveys about killers and perks that go into depth, like "do you think their add-ons are balanced?", "do you think this killer benefits from certain perks too much?", "do you think this perk is too good?".


This is just a way for the devs to get more stats, mainly revolving around public opinion and fun.

    They should do a survey every month asking people what perks and killers are the worst/best. Buff the worst perk and killer every month, nerf the worst perk and killer every month. Easy profit, shake up the meta.
