DH endurance after being caught in bear trap

I was versing the trapper as survivor on the garden of joy map, I used DH but during the animation I ran and was caught in a bear trap. After the killer hit me to down me, dh's endurance effect activated and I didn't go down into the dying state but stayed injured with deep wound.
