Does the killer lose or not earn points if a survivor bleeds out
Mainly asking because if the killer is slugging me I'll just crawl to a corner and bleed out but it never dawned on me what they get if a survivor bleeds out since all I get is the match result of dead like if I was moried.

They get less point if you are dead compare to a sacrifice.
They forego points in the sacrifice category, which is only awarded for hooking, using a mori (Devour Hope included), or something akin to Final Judgment with Pyramid Head. Just bleeding out does not award sacrifice points. It gives a negligible amount of devious points. The only way for any player to lose points in a match is to disconnect prematurely.
You can ruin any kill related challenges they are on if you hide well enough to bleed out. Other than that, it is a negligible difference of BP.
And that's something that spiteful survivors use to deny the killer the points that they earned, all because unreachable hooks are the norm. They can just run to a certain area and get downed, and the killer either has to let them bleed out or let them keep wiggling off only to run back to that same spot.
Indeed. Best to let them bleed out while hunting other survivors, or use them as bait to down another survivor. I've found if you leave them bleeding out long enough then come back to pick them up, most are happy to get hooked so they can get out of the trial, and won't wiggle. If they do start wiggling, just drop them and work the other survivors.
If they DC while down in EGC it counts as a hook/sacrifice, same as when DCing on a hook otherwise.
Under some conditions it can be annoying for doing specific tome entries, but otherwise it's a negligible difference.
That can be a risky play, unless you’ve already killed all three other survivors and closed the hatch. Especially now that wiggling does not regress when slugged, as it used to.
It fine to me cause I don't need any point.
