An afternoon of solo q
Played solo queue this afternoon to see what it was like after the updates. I'm an average survivor player. My overall feeling is that there's less time to just screw around and still escape. You really can't be messing around with totems, unless it helps your build or its getting rid of a hex, or opening up chests because every second counts. I was seeing A LOT of moments where pre-patch survivors would be able to finish a gen in the killer's face or before he could use Pop or his PR, but now that's not happening anymore too much. Now with the increased gen times, killers are able to interrupt gens that are 90 to 95% frequently and get a lot of regression. This is devastating in solo q if people are split up without communication. If you get a guy in your solo q lobby that's going to throw to do his challenge and isn't a god looper, you're pretty much sunk. Solo q needs a chat wheel or HUD icons to let them know what other people are doing and tone down the regression perks slightly. I think the speed boosted killer actions and 90 seconds are enough. I'd rather see them further nerf the regression perks because if you're a decent killer and aren't playing against a god SWF, you've got a good chance to get 8+ hooks and 2+ kills just going for as many hooks as possible using chase oriented builds.
Game 1 - vs mediocre Nurse player. Only had 2 hooks at EGC, then started to snowball a bit after an untimely Haunted Ground cleanse in the EGC. 2 escapes. I survived cause a teammate traded for me.
Game 2 - vs a Deathslinger on Farm map. He was running an Agi/SS/BW/NWO build. We had all 4 survivors alive at EGC, but the DS was able to open the door right by a hook and get some BW value to kill 3 survivors. I was lone escapee
Game 3 - vs a Trapper on Ormond. Trapper got his first hook after gens were all done, which he got in the basement. He snowballed when 2 survivors got trapped going for the save. He ended with a 3k, I died.
Game 4 - vs a Legion on Midwich running Thana/Eruption/Overcharge. This build might be legitimately impossible to escape against in solo queue. Everyone tried but we got 3 gens done and that was it.
Game 5 - vs an Oni on Dead Dawg. Came down to 3 survivors left with 1 gen left. One survivor down and me and the other one were pushing the last gen. The other survivor got too scared to commit when we could have got it and maybe one of us escapes, but we all died. Good game.
Game 6 - vs a Nemesis on Midwich. We got all the gens done but it was 2v1 when the last gen was done. Not sure if the last guy got out, didn't spectate. Good game.
Game 7 - vs Blight on RPD. This Blight was extremely good. We got 3 gens done, but he didn't let RPD slow him down and was downing survivors fast and protecting gens. Good game.
So overall my experience was there were few give-ups/disconnects, everyone tried, and more survivors could have escaped if they left their teammates at the end. Actually very little camping and hard tunneling prior to EGC. The Legion camped a survivor on 2nd state to make sure they died, but that was the only egregious instance I saw.

Honestly didn't expect you to say anything different from this considering your post history and that you're a killer main.
I said solo q needs help and they need to tone down the regression perks further
It sounds like a lot of your earlier games could've easily been 3-4 escapes, but there were some unwise survivor choices that gave the killer more kills than they could've gotten on their own.
Also: I'm impressed with that Blight. RCPD is, like, his worst map.
The only thing soloq needs is more communication tools.
