OTR is arguably one of the best survivor perks hands down
So you get your Endurance, you get your anti-aura reading and you get your iron will all in one perk! You won't need Iron Will because you have an entire 80 secs to hide from killer -> get healed and bam, don't need Iron Will anymore. You won't get radared from it, and you can even still tank a hit if you need. It's really a great perk you can get all kinds of mileage out of.
BT is better because it doesn't get deactivated, Iron Will is better because you don't need to get healed and won't run out of it, and Distortion is better because it's always on and can be refreshed.
Or you can take a sort-of all of these perks in OTR.

I have gotten use out of it once all the other times I needed it was In EGC
Yea so you can't know when it has hidden your aura, and it isn't just to tank a hit, as running off with 0 grunts is great when you're stealthing the killer.
I also love the interaction it has with after the gates are powered, it buffs Borrowed Time, Iron Will, and Distortion because those 3 are not deactivated. It's a beautiful thing.
OTR was nerfed to not be late game perk. Same for decisive strike.
if you want late game perks, you need to run Adrenaline and Hope or Borrow time.
The main problem for survivor in late game is that survivor cannot guaranteed that they make it to the late game. Killers can guaranteed that they get to end game.
Borrow time is used in late game because it works all game.
What would Adrenaline and Hope working all game look like? Imagine Adrenaline granting 1 second of sprint burst at 150% on every generator completion. Adrenaline might need to apply exhaustion. Imagine Hope increasing the survivor movement speed by 2% for entire trial.
This would make survivor use these perks as much as borrow time. I highly doubt they'll buff these perks into meta though.
OTR is strong but when you factor in all of the other meta perks that were nerfed it's just a band aid fix to a lingering problem which is tunneling and camping. OTR does little to solve the issue and doesn't stack with the measly 5 second base kit BT on top of that which has shown to do little against a motivated killer looking to tunnel. Praising a single perk with the end result being survivors barely getting one gen done is just a poorly implemented update that needs a serious look at.
Useless perk at the endgame and if the killer hits you right off the hook...
Not that good.
i honestly think its bad. it gives not only less distacne then borrowed time before on a hit but if a killer is seriously waiting out 80secondts to just hit them once they're throwing the game. just hit the person immediately off the hook and you'd catch them 5 times faster. none of the duration times on them really matter besides maybe borrowed time
No, it's an anti-tunnel perk and nothing more. You can't literally do anything or the perk will be deactivated. Moreover its effects are denied during the endgame. 5/10
It does a lot. The stealth sticks even when the endurance doesn't and I've evaded a few killers in the minute after the hook because of it. It's a pretty comfortable perk to use. Haven't really run afoul of it as killer yet because I avoid tunneling when I have the freedom to, and I haven't had anyone go full tank on me yet, so my mileage could change - but with it deactivating in endgame, I think it's fine. If people are having problems with it, all you have to do is whack people off hook.
