Visual Sloppiness

This may be more of a “back burner” issue but to me it’s worth a look. Our former P3 characters now have a dynamic iridescent backgrounds in our character select menus. That’s awesome, but it makes the roster visually look awful as a collective. I’d suggest introducing a way to either turn off the dynamic backgrounds OR allow us to turn the other character background into a dynamic color as well. Obviously red is to give us a little bit of personal flex (since others can’t see it) to show ourselves how committed we were. Maybe allowing the other characters to get an Orange or Green background at certain (REASONABLE) prestige levels. Even a different color dynamic would replace the dull subdued and ugliness of how it is now.

On the same visual note, Prestige icons in lobby. If a character is 0 but every other character has a number, it looks very messy in the endgame screen. Characters who are 0 could perhaps have a 0 representation?

Player names - Simply, this looks awful all around. Do we really need to see the character name in big bold letters? Doesn’t that take a lot of the “player awareness” and community building away? Nobody wants to squint at a lobby and try to read a screen name to determine 1) I know that person! 2) That player is toxic from past games 3) I’d like to make friends or talk with this player 4) literally anything else. Even the endgame score screen is very small. Since you have stated you have no intention of adding a communication endgame mechanic for console, there’s no way for random players to give props, suggestions or anything else to each other if we can’t see names.

I know all of this stuff is very, very small on any list of things to change. Maybe none of it will even make the list for changing. But the way it stands does look sloppy and in a digital age, that’s bound to turn some people off and away.

This ^. Either swap them around or change it to character portraits (adept ones would look so cool imo)
