Are map offerings supposed to be gone when not accepcted

Just asking because it seems a waste if two are used and the unused one is gone

    Two maps are put on like one for game other for autohaven and the map you get could be either and then the offering is gone from your inventory right after

    Well, yeah, the offering was used. When two different map offerings are used, there's an equal chance that either one will be picked, but you still threw your hat in the ring, as it were.

    All map offerings do is increase the chance of going to a certain map, they don't actually guarantee anything. So if there are multiple offerings burnt for different maps, it sucks if you don't get yours but it's not a "waste", in the sense that it's not unfair or needs to be refunded because it still did what it was supposed to do. Same as if only one person burns an offering but you don't get that map - it's not guaranteed, so it sucks but it isn't unfair or a bug or anything.
