New Shrine of Secrets

Can someone explain to me exactly how the shrine of secrets works now? Because i think i understood it incorrectly... before the update we had to pay 4k for 1 perk right? Now it's 2k for t1 + 4k for t2 + 8k for t3? isn't that a bit too much?

    Before the patch, it was 2k to unlock it. Now it is still 2k to unlock it, but if you come across a perk you already have unlocked or just buy a perk, you have the option to level it up across all characters for a higher fee.

    It was 2k before. Now u have 2 options to get perks. Unlock it once for 2k, all characters get (at least) the tier 1 version then u can unlock later teirs on their bloodweb same as before. OR u can buy ugraded versions from the shrine at higher prices and automatically get the corresponding teir on every character. Everything still works like it did before, now u just have an extra option to get perks if u wanna spend the shards

    Oh, thanks guys, i am relieved. But the change feels kind of useless since iridescent shards are way harder to get than bloodpoints.
