Endurance vs. certain Killers
Generally Endurance works as intended on most of the Killer Powers but there few exceptions where it's kind of weird and I'm not sure if some of those are bugs or actual designs around them. It makes me worried though.
THE NIGHTMARE
When you hit an Awake, but not Sleep Immune, Survivor who has Endurance, they won't become Asleep from his attacks. They can be Asleep and have Deep Wound active (Old Black Box could do this more consistently but also, let's say, Styptic Agent while Asleep) and the Microsleep timer does not reset.
It's very strange in my opinion as to why it happens. Again, if it's design-intentional I wouldn't mind a reason as to why it's that.
THE LEGION
For some reason triggering Deep Wound consumes Endurance.
The most common application of that is when the Survivor with Endurance is Legion's 4th Feral Slash and then Legion does double-tap on same Survivor. It does protect Survivor on 5th Feral Slash if they have Endurance effect though. So it might be probably more intentional odd-case scenario.
THE DEATHSLINGER
Similar deal as it is with Legion because this Killer can trigger Deep Wound manually, either Reeling and hitting a Healthy Survivor or via Chain-Break.
Endurance still protects from Iridescent Coin's effect though so that's good I would say.
But the biggest problem I may have is exactly Chain-Break with combination of Bayshore's Cigar and Chewing Tobacco combo. With those add-ons the Chain-Break time gets decreased from 3s to 1,5s. And this might be worrying in some cases. Not sure if it's the add-ons that need to be looked at or something else around this.
THE TWINS
A Survivor with Endurance Status Effect, hit by Victor's Pounce, causes Victor to go through 5s Pounce cool-down.
Considering their changes are in-works, it might get skipped for now and be changed during their rework.
But considering current Twins state, I wouldn't mind it being reduced to 3s in this specific scenario.
THE CENOBITE
This might be the most worrying interaction in the game though.
Original Pain add-on makes Cenobite able to put Deep Wound onto Survivor via Possessed Chain.
The reason why it's worrying is because we know triggering Deep Wound consumes Endurance. So it might be used in a way to literally tunnel someone out of Hook. The only counter-play Survivor has might be to literally to not start breaking Chains.
However, Cenobite can force that add-on's effect by himself breaking the Chain. In those cases, Survivor doesn't have anything to protect themselves from being tunneled off Hook outside of maybe Decisive Strike or very cracked teamwork, which happpens once every blue moon.
This originally made me wonder about Deathslinger and Legion first and foremost because they work in similar manner of triggering Deep Wound manually.
I'm worried that Deep Wound Killers (Cenobite, Deathslinger and Legion) might use their Powers in a way to tunnel Survivor off Hook and bypass base-kit Endurance while Endurance itself completely bypassing Nightmare and Twins.
That's all.
