Furtive Chase - revamp to chase the Obsession more quickly
The main problem with Furtive Chase is that being stealthy during a chase is mostly pointless. Stealth is great between chases to help get you close to the survivors, but during a chase they already know where you are so being stealthy basically doesn’t matter. I’d love to see the terror radius reduction during a chase be replaced by something else chase related. One idea would be to make it so you chase the Obsession more quickly.
- Furtive Chase - Each time you hook someone this perk gains a token. When a survivor is rescued the rescuer becomes the Obsession. While in a chase with the Obsession your movement speed is increased +0.3 / 0.6 / 1.0% per token.
So the more often you hook the Obsession the faster you are while chasing the person who rescued them.
This seems like a much more effective perk to me, but not an overpowered one since it’s giving a decent movement speed boost but only against one specific survivor in a match at a time and only once you’ve gotten a couple of hooks to charge the ability up. It also has some nice synergy with perks like Make Your Choice and Scourge Hook Floods of Rage.
