Potential Bloodweb Value Changes
I have noticed that Behavior has decided to make grinding for perks MUCH easier for all players alike.
I enjoy this upcoming change a lot considering I decided to prestige nearly every character I have all the way to 3.
However I had stopped recently, I began to realize how much more time consuming it got with every new perk that came out, but I am getting sidetracked here.
This post is about the bloodweb values, now imagine if you finally reached a big achievement of making it to 1,000,000 bloodpoints (the max capacity.)
If you put that entire million into one character that would leave them at best around level 35, 38, 40, 43. If you managed to get lucky enough and avoid most expensive items then there is a VERY small chance you could get to 45 - 50.
This is a problem to me and I will explain why, it takes a long time to reach a million bloodpoints and the player feels very rewarded when reaching that cap.
But when you cannot get 1 character to level 50 or barely past the 40’s then that can mean 1 out of 2 things.
- The bloodpoint cap is way too short
- The items in the bloodweb cost too much
In my personal opinion I am leaning more to the second point rather than the first, as we all know the max bloodpoints you can get every game is 32K.
If we are getting technical, on average you will only make around 20 - 25K or 15 - 20K and some small games here and there where you will get 25 - 30K or max.
The items in the bloodweb cost a lot in retrospective, which is why most killers run BBQ and CHILI and why a moderate amount of survivors run WERE GONNA LIVE FOREVER for extra bloodpoints because putting in around 20 - 25K will be blown over so fast.
Truthfully I do not WANT to run a perk to help me gain more bloodpoints every game but I HAVE to or it takes two times longer to get through them.
Hopefully Behavior will take this suggested change into account, I really feel they should make in response to new players and veterans alike.
I think it is finally time for the bloodpoint rarities in the bloodweb to start dropping, that way players do not feel forced to run bloodpoint based perks every match, here is my suggested change.
Common Rarity - 1000 BP
Uncommon Rarity - 2000 BP
Rare Rarity - 3000 BP
Very Rare Rarity - 4000 BP
Ultra Rare Rarity - 5000 BP
I had done the math, and at best it is a guarantee that you will obtain 5 items at best from the bloodweb unless every item you grab is Ultra Rare.
This change makes your bloodpoint amount feel more achieving because this change will also guarantee that if you reach one million you can have 1 character reach level 50 just from that which is fair because the bloodpoints is capped to that limit.
Players will no longer have to feel forced to run bloodpoint based perks and they now become optional.
Keep in mind there is as of now plenty of characters in the game so with the current values of the items in the bloodweb will take longer to reach other characters as well.
I really hope Behavior takes this suggested change into consideration because it would really help all players around who struggle with leveling up in the bloodweb
