shouldnt BT dureation end when repairing gen?
If BT is to help stop tunneling but as soon as your unhooked you start working on the gen 3 feet away, i dont think i should be penalised for doing the rational move which is to punish the person for making a dump play.

It only lasts for 12 seconds. It's much harder to abuse BT to finish a gen than it was to abuse previous DS to finish a gen.
I don't really see this as a problem.
I don't think it's an issue honestly. If they try to do a gen in your face and you hit them with BT, if they still stay there they're getting 3 seconds of gen time and then you're immediately downing them again, and there's 0% chance of them having DS at that point.
If you grab them off the gen, BT won’t even matter. And they won’t have DS.

If someone is repairing a generator in front of you, pick them up.
Walk behind them and bait out their fake, then grab them.
BT doesn't prevent grabs.
If they touched a gen, they don't have DS.
You can either count to 12 in your head before smacking the survivor - or if they are being brasin about going to a gen... just grab them off.
If they're cheesing the gen by touching and letting go, just keep counting - they're far more likely to lose progress with skill checks than finis ha gen before you smack them down again.
