Ghostface is Garbage After Buffs

BHVR buffed him but he is weaker than old version now? ######### seriously... Playing him is miserable right now. Playing against him is easier than before.

I don't know how but BHVR ruined Ghostface so badly.

  • Honestly doesn't feel that different to me. Had about 5-6 games with him the last couple days, mostly got indoor maps, decent success rate and fun games. Getting revealed is a risk, so you put obstacles between you and survivors to prevent that. He sucks on outdoor maps, but that's always been the case.

  • after playing him I found out what his problem is with reveal. It’s the stupid affect how the reveal doesn’t reset instantly when Ghostface is not seen anymore. It stays so it doesn’t go away. Removing that would possibly make him better

It's hard to tell exactly how much, but presumably it's a bit like Tricksters lacerations. The drop off just needs to be tuned up a little.

  • I dunno, I think the fact that "Philly" is such a good add-on makes all the changes worth it. It's pretty much old "Ghostface caught on tape" but every single game.

My only problem is that there is just enough time for a survivor at the top of the basement stairs to run down and reveal you now. It can be worked around with Lasting Perfume though, since you can do the 90% stalk and then retreat into LOS of the hooked survivor to finish the expose with the extra reveal duration.

The old GFCOT actually let you stand at the bottom of the stairs and instantly expose anyone trying to run down; for some Bubba level basement camping.

But he can still camp the shack pretty well, especially because exposing survivors at a distance can secure half states and kills pretty easily now.
