Are we any closer to seeing Proton support for DBD?

I believe BHVR confirmed around January that they were intending to make the game playable on the Steam Deck via Proton, but there hasn't been any news about this since. I'm asking this question because the PTB is online and still unplayable on Proton. It's understandably frustrating to be hyped up about something only for that thing to never be brought up again. I love DBD and I just want to be able to play it on my platform of choice.

We do not have further information about Steam Deck at this time. We did communicate that whilst we plan to implement DbD on Steam Deck it would not come during the launch period.
