Maybe not aim for 50/50 winrate?

So, the MMR and game design seems to aim for 50% chance of win (escape or kill.) Maybe the game shouldn't aim for that? Maybe something more like 55% chance for killer to kill, in order to skew ever so slightly to the power role, since there's one of him and 4 survivors.

or, since the issue is more at the higher MMR levels with SWFs and Navy SEAL survivors, maybe the MMR can set an MMR threshold where once you become that good of a survivor, you should be matched not with a Killer at "your level" but with a Killer above your level.

i dunno, i'm just trying to think a little bit outside the box about how we can help the Killer community, since i feel like we're seeing a lot Killer frustration and drop off.

no comments about camping/tunneling please. that's sort of a separate issue of game design that really needs its own topic.

  • Then you're in luck, because every time they show broad stats the overall kill rate is around 50-55%.

  • yeah, and i think that's fine. but isn't it the guide for their decision making that they try to bring it down to 50%? so then you get nerfs on some killers that may not be warranted, or maps that favor survs, things of that sort?
