Xbox|Windows StoreCross-Progression
I imagine the team are sick of hearing questions about cross-progression in DBD, I understand the difficulty in getting that done across multiple platforms and ecosystems, especially with different marketplaces wanting to take their cut from in-game purchases. However Xbox|Windows Store cross-progression at least makes sense to have, even if kept entirely separate from the Steam|Epic|Stadia cross-progression.
Like some of the other non-Microsoft Studios games that are on both platforms, both versions are listed as different games with different Xbox titleIDs, however DBD is one of the few games that doesn't have cross-progression between the two versions. This means that despite using the exact same Xbox account and likely playing the game through the same GamePass Ultimate subscription, players have to unlock or purchase characters twice through the same Xbox marketplace, and level them up/unlock perks twice, in order to enjoy them across the same Xbox ecosystem, which is a little silly to say the least 😅
Hopefully it's something that the team are looking into implementing in the near future
