Red Envelopes bug? Or am I dumb?

I read how the red envelopes worked my first few matches they worked as I suspected. But since then when i started a match I dont see my red envelope anymore to "activate it" and have sparkles on me and get the cosmetic anyway.

Can other survivors or killer get my envelope without me even activating it?

No thanks, I'll take your word for it. As long as I get the cosmetic it's all good lol
