TIL from the Q&A stream that if you come into a match as killer and the survivors are already all there and ready, it's going to be unbalanced (probably not in your favor) because MMR ignored rank to sub you in for a killer who lobby-dodged.

Then you dodge it too then that's all that you can do.
MMR is checked first and foremost for survivors. If MMR is checked at all for killers, it's an afterthought.
