BHVR we need to talk about Trapper and the Eyrie map.
I don't know if there's already been a suggestion post like this but I'm going to give it a shot.
There's been countless people who have noticed and rightfully complained about Trapper on the new map. Specifically how he is essentially an only M1 killer who might as well not even have a power such as his bear traps.
His traps are considerably easy to spot on this map. The new map doesn't cover any part of the trap, it's just out in the open:
(I mean honestly.... This is such a sad and pathetic sight for a Trapper).
The sand doesn't do a thing to give you a possible advantage.
But what about the Coldwind maps? Those maps are set in daylight too.
Yes, but the difference is there's some good choke points you can use and also some areas you can hide your traps in, some shades of grass around tiles and in tiles.
But there's some patchy spots in the new map.
No. No survivor in their right mind... is going to stroll in a random patch.... Against a Trapper.
The solution is fairly simple in my opinion. It's not even a change to the map but if it is possible: passive interactability. Make it so once Trapper places his traps in any part of the outside loops where there is sand, the sand itself will give the trap a slightly "covered" effect. Obviously it doesn't mean it should be all the way covered, it's tail end can hang out so it can be spotted by survivors paying close enough attention. This passive effect should only occur with trap based killers such as Trapper and Hag although Hag doesn't struggle quite as much as Trapper, she could still benefit from this passive effect.
Anyone can add onto the reasons why this map is a nightmare for the face of this game. And it is. It's a nightmare to play Trapper on this map where as soon as you load in, you know it's already ggs.

Comments
If only the traps buried under the sand that would be really intense.
But its better to gimp the power than make people unaware of what might happen thats not fun, because we need to know where the killer is at all times and have a large number of notifications if they even consider using their power.
Otherwise we'd have to pay attention and maybe show alittle caution in our gameplay but thats just to much to ask.
