How did they both escape through the hatch?
As the topic says, how is it possible for 2 people to escape through the hatch when they had 1 more gen to do.

They probably found a key in a chest
As @Goldflare29 said, found a key in a chest and it had to have been a purple key to do it since the green key can't. I found a purple key in a chest last night but never got a chance to use it.
