Artist does not actually get countered by holding W

Ok so you may be confused, Artist isn't weak at holding W. at the start of the game place 2 crows on each of the furthest gens. 99 chance to find a survivor. make sure yo use your power a much as yo can, try to predict movements and i swear holding W is non-existent

  • Can you put 3 crows down to a gen to get an insta-down on start?

  • She is, obviously mindlessly holding W isn't effective against any killer.

Going from loop to loop with a bit of sense is what is needed to make the artist sweat against you.

  • Knowing where survivors are doesn't negate their ability to pre-chase run. You can still tell which direction she is coming from based on crows and can also lead her away when tagged.

She is SLOWER THEN THE NURSE while using her power or from the cooldown from her power.

Nurse base speed is 3.85 m/s.

Artist speed while channeling/charging/shooting her power: 3.68 m/s.

So yes W is extremely effective against her.

its a low chance but it is possible, yes.

yes but you can easily just fly crows at them, and you can also use m1 too, a good artist must know when and when not to use her power. And, to contradict that point, if you good at predictions, just predict where they are going to go and shoot crows at them.

That's what I mean dude, a good artist will have this in mind and will pre-setup for the loop they are going to. and using the crows, you can deadline them and if they won't go to your crows, m1 them

  • She does get countered by holding W, but it's not as effective as it is against other killers like Pyramid, Slinger, Huntress, etc because she can use the 1 crow snipe to zone you.

  • It's effective against her in short loops. You can shut down a loop by summoning a crow pointing in the direction of the path the survivor might take to run around the loop.

The only thing standing between the survivor and her, is the idle time on the crow itself, plus not to mention many survivors will leave the loop at that point.

no, but you can get an injured state if you move them far away from each other and time it right.

  • It kinda does but kinda doesn't.

Thing is her power ignores everything. If you put crows along a loop and the survivor leaves it then yes that crow is countered.

But hold w players still run with a plan. They are going to the next strongest loop near. If you place a crow in that line you still can shoot them down.

I think when we are going to get really good artist that mindlessly running away from a loop is still going to result in getting crowed

yeah that's what i mean, and if your really good at predicting where they will go it is even less apparent

  • I dont think thats how it work, to make a crow hit, swam crow & hit crow have to be in different flight order. I tried to make 3 Dire crow with length distance from each other, the first crow swam a survivor, then the other 2 Dire just flight pass them.

But her power can instantly tell info from 3 furthest Gens. Pretty much Lethal pursuit build-in.
