Ideas to nerf circle of healing and buff Franklin's demise

I'm very convinced these are very good ideas, and I'd really like them to be delivered to the devs:

Since circle of healing came out, the hit and run meta died almost, because almost every match there is/are 1/2 survivors with it, and there's no reason not to use it in a swf.

Franklin's demise became complete useless, because no medkit is required and, even before, you could leave your item on the ground. This tactic results to be extremely strong in teams, because solos have no way to communicate if the killer has it, creating a disparity.

I really wish these 2 ideas became part of the base game:

  1. Circle of healing doesn't allow you to self care anymore unless you have a medkit. This change would make it so you cannot have an extreme time efficiency unless you have a medkit, or self care, so if you wanted to have a very quick heal you'd need a teammate healing you or a medkit and waste charges. This would fix the problem where just 1 circle of healing can be the medkit for the entire team and everyone can just have a toolbox and never worry about getting free hits/bodyblocks the entire game. Perks like self care and inner healing now would have a much stronger sense of existing compared to circle of healing.
  2. One could say: the problem is not fixed, because you could just put a medkit with a lot of charges inside the boon area, and it would make teams that coordinate for this even stronger. In a way this would be true, but this would be one of many and many scenarios where teams have the communication and coordination advantage compared to solos. Here's my second idea to prevent this if you want a hit and run playstyle: Franklin's demise burns items that are put on the ground the same of when you hit survivors with a basic attack. This would mean that you cannot just put a medkit in some area or near circle of healing and when you are hit use the medkit for free. If you wanted to coordinate and exchange items with your teammates, you'd have to waste time, and then run to the boon area to get the fast heal. Also it would prevent survivors from dropping the medkit/item on the ground just before getting hit in chase, which in my opinion is very stupid.

What do you think of these ideas? Has anyone thought something like this? What has been suggested to nerf circle of healing?

  • Franklins demise its a bit of a meme perk, but it has its uses, altought the idea that pasively franklins reduces items charges sounds like an interesting idea. Could be very slow but allow that in the long run puts preasure on survivors and force them to use the items or lose them.

Circle of healing reall problem its that like other boons, its infinite. If the boons had a set of limited uses per trial, a cooldown OR that simply killers where allowed to smash the totems things would be much more bearable for the killers. Still i do like the idea that CoH becomes more of a "team" based boon, it would still be strong BUT would demand people to comit more to "team play" something survivors should do

  • i think circle of healing nerf that came with the release to the public was good enough, i used to think boons were a terrible idea but they aren't as bad to go against as i thought and they can be punished if you bring hex ret or haunted

franklins has gotten nerfs and buffs and i think it's fine where it is, franklins used to not deplete charges but instead after the timer destroyed the item and that was annoying if you brought any limited item. now franklins is more fair and isn't game ruining because you can still find your item and escape with it.

It isn't as bad to go against? It completely frees up the need to use medkits/use a teammate/self care/inner healing to heal, allowing the use of just toolboxes with no risk, and it COMPLETELY cancels the hit and run strat, you can just harass tons of Hag's traps, and go reset super fast.

Shadowstep and exponential are completely fine, but circle of healing is FACTUALLY busted

i would argue againts shadow step, add iron will and survivors become virtually invisible, you cant hear them use aura reading perks or chase unless you previously wounded them, and even blood marks arent a reliable way to track survivors.

Quite honestly boons in general are busted and in need of a serious nerf

Blood pools are a reliable way to track survivors, because if it's a map with grass, then you won't need to use blood pools because you already know where survivors will go, and if it's an indoor maps like Lery's, you can see blood pools perfectly

Lucky break is busted, not shadowstep. The only reason people don't notice it's because nobody uses it, and survivors like to get chased.

Lucky break + iron will is busted imo, especially with a medkit.

In indoor maps with tons of walls, good luck not losing a survivor, and even in outdoor maps you can do nasty stuff.

Even lucky break with the new perk overcome it's gonna be so busted, as killer you're gonna lose a chase every 2, or 2 chases every 3 AT LEAST

boons also waste a lot of time and if they lit one and you find it 2 seconds later and destroy it guess what that's a quarter of a gen they could have gotten done and they wasted it just like with selfcare and you can just keep doing that especially with undying and retribution. booning totems when they aren't needed can cause the game to fall apart because they had 1 or two teammates not doing anything other then totems

if you catch them booning it's just as painful as stopping somebody from cleansing a totem it wastes time that they SHOULDN'T HAVE BEEN WASTEING IN THE FIRST PLACE

Don't look at boons as a disadvantage look at it as the key to turning the tables and getting a 4k

  • the second you break a boon the person who blessed it will stop what ever they are doing and run to the nearest totem

it may give them an advantage if used right but it has a very noticeable sound que when near it
