Like the perk was of cooldown and i was far enough away (the perk was lit) but when the surv on the hook got rescued there was no scream, no exposed no perk running down it just went out without doing anything and that 2 times in a row

    The only thing I can think of is Calm Spirit. Did you happen to check their perks post-game?

    I went for the unhooker and didn't get a insta down so the perk just didn't want to activate even though i was far enough away

    Sure that the Survivor did not Kobe? Some Survivors try to do the 4% when they are about to get unhooked, so this might have happened.

    If there was no scream maybe they were running calm spirit, and when you tried to hit someone you hit the wrong one?

    I went against a MYC recently and it was working fine.

    Maybe 2 surv rescued him to confuse u

    Maybe you were to close to the hook when the survivor got the unhook or it was on cool down.

    Calm spirit makes sure you don't scream and it could be another survivor who got the save.

    Maybe the perk is bugged, game can get buggy sometimes.
