Blocking hooks question

So I thought awhile back ( I could be wrong) that the devs changed the hooks so they could be unhooked from ALMOST any angle. Just had match in springfield where clown literally stood on the hook and blocked the three of us from being able to get to the one other survivor on the hook. I thought (or heard) that this was made no loonger doable. YES killers can camp the hook but 100% block it? One issue alone in this is that killer should not be able to stand on the hook when a survivor is hooked. So this more looks like an exploit than anything. His fat butt was literally on the survivor n the hook, The three of us were circling all around it but could not get to him for anything.

    LOL and the killer knew what was up too cause he wasn't budging, he would turn to us and throw a vial but that was it till the survivor suicided then he came for us but we were at the gates......But no we weren't blocking each other, it was impossible to do from the points we were at in springfield. Clowns fat butt was literally on top of the survivor on the hook.
