Cannot increase Grade at my Skill Rating

If half the survivors are supposed to be escaping, and I've reached that point now that my rating seems to have settled, how am I supposed to get any Bonus Bloodpoints at the end of the season if I cannot increase my Grade (or it decreases as often as it increases).

It's been 3 days and I'm still at Ash IV

    Wait. I thought Grade couldn't decrease without a reset? I thought it only went up?

    you can still get a minus pip afaik when you play poorly

    Well then maybe the real goal of Grades wasn't to give us more bloodpoints, but to get us to play the game more often by increasing the sense of need to grind even more.
