This game will never be fun again
Playing killer is usually never the fun role to play at least for a majority of the community. The people that do play Killer usually just complain all the time about gen speeds and instead of making some kind of actual change to gen speeds we get more gen defense perks that when combined make playing survivor incredibly frustrating and annoying. Then we get a pretty pointless red bar on gens to show that gen speed is "slower" with multiple people on it.
We got survivors complaining about camping and tunneling and nothing is ever done and the perk that ensured a killer had to respect the survivor they could or have tunneled gets nerfed and now i think about half the people that used it stopped using it so tunneling has sky rocketed. Camping has sky rocketed and devs decide they'll do nothing. That is until recently with the announcement of VHS coming out soon now they've got a problem with how enticing it is for people to camp and they wanna try to punish it. Coincidence or just fear of people leaving to their upcoming competition you decide I think its def the competition. Just because their stance has ALWAYS been we think both are a legit strategy and if people play that way they can its not bannable.
We've got tons of craptastic perks for survivor, killer has a lot as well but I wanna say less crap perks. Those take forever to be buffed if they ever get changes. Not sure why it takes so long for these perks to be changed considering we the community can tell you damn near day 1 these things aren't good or will do nothing but increase perk pool.
The game has way too many bugs to be a game that has been out this long and servers still aren't as good as we know they can be. I'll admit they've come a long way and hits through pallets have in my experience basically gone away so at least that's gotten resolved but it still took an extremely long time and that's basic functionality. Not even to mention how poorly balanced most of the killers feel. Your stats aren't everything I like data as well, but if your players don't feel like things are okay and are complaining then its not okay and needs changing in some way so that people are actually having fun. Then MMR has made this game way more frustrating than it needs to be. You got games that for me still feel unfair because survivors aren't doing gens or just aren't as good at looping then you got killers camping and tunneling either just to be dicks or because playing killer it feels like the only viable option they have. If they feel that way things need to change this game shouldn't be this unfun to play for both sides. The other thing about MMR is that most people don't want to try hard every game, but MMR basically forces you to do that and if you don't you'll end up against players worse than you that aren't going to have fun when you ######### on them. What made this game fun was because you didn't know if you'd get a "good" killer or "good" survivors and it gave even more chance and what not to the game. MMR just makes this game way more annoying because the " good" people have to try their absolute best EVERY game now and for a lot of the killers it seems that's just gonna be camping and or tunneling and survivors its gen rushing or abusing the most busted loops all the time. Not even gonna talk about killers because everyone has a killer they like and don't like playing against but this game is quickly losing all that makes it fun.
Reason for this post: Got camped by pinhead and am salt but also just general feedback on the game we see everywhere here on the forums and in other places its obvious a lot of people just aren't having fun anymore despite continuing to play and hope it gets better.

I also agree that the game is not fun anymore, but it has nothing to do with everything that you've mentioned.
Well a lot of those are what makes it less fun for me and seemingly some other people. What makes it less fun for you?
Reworks, the Realm Beyond, the fact that DBD doesn't even look like the game I fell in love with back in 2018.
