KILLER CONCEPT: The BULL (Oswald Fitzgerald Heable)
LORE:
Oswald Fitzgerald Heable was a meek boy from the day he was born. Short in stature and scrawny in frame, he was always self conscious about his weakness, and longed for a day where he could stand tall and proud like his favorite heroes from the stories his mother would read him.
Living in New York during the 1920’s, bullies and gangs tormented him mercilessly during his childhood, stealing what little money he had and leaving horrible bruises along his brittle body. Anything he had that he cherished, they would take from him, no matter what it was. He couldn't stop them, they were bigger, stronger, he was at their mercy. He hated them almost as much as he hated himself, and this hatred boiled and simmered inside of him all the way to adulthood, leaving a blazing fire inside of him he always felt but lacked the strength to release it from within himself.
One day Oswald’s mother went missing, and fear stabbed at his heart for what may have happened, as his mother was the only person he felt who was ever truly kind to him. His father died of cancer while he was a baby, and the teachers from school never did anything to protect him from the cruel children at school. Destroying his lunch, beatings at recess, ruining his hard work that he spent countless hours on, their cruelty seemingly had no limits, and for as long as he was in school trapped with them, it truly felt like a Hell he could have never escaped, and thanked God the day he graduated.
Police investigated for weeks and finally discovered his mother's corpse located in a sewer not far from their home, stripped of her possessions and violated. Her body covered in bruises and gashes, filled with maggots and rats, a bloated rotting nightmare of what was once the person he once cherished above all else.
Rage and pain filled his heart like he had never felt before, a hatred so intense it almost felt like it could blister his skin itself. His tears were ceaseless, his self hatred magnifying to the point of becoming suicidal. Days turned to weeks, and the police discovered that the one whom killed his mother was Paul J. Myers, a wealthy son of a state Senator, and any hope of conviction was lost mysteriously, the investigation conveniently losing key evidence to the trial.
Oswald had nothing, his mother was his world, the one who wiped his tears away. She would heal his wounds, kiss his forehead and make him his favorite meals, she was the one who made him feel tall and strong. Now all that remained was a small house with nothing but painful reminders of his weakness and failures. He couldn’t protect her, he failed her. He failed the only person to make him feel like something more than a weakling. Oswald thrashed his home to pieces in an intense fit of anger, rage and sadness drowning his soul in anguish. He would never be the same.
Oswald wandered around aimlessly months after his mother's death seeking any work, and happened upon a new prestigious public art exhibit. Oswald ventured inside and observed all sorts of paintings and statues, crafted instruments and abstract images, with many high status guests conversing and appreciating the art.
One display in particular caught his eye and filled him with childlike wonder upon discovering it: a giant metal Minotaur, horns large and sharp, and body towering over everything else, boasting a specimen of pure strength. After being filled with awe by this art piece, Oswald prepared his leave, only to see the fellow art appreciators gathering near the entrance to greet a new group of guests. One of them was none other than Paul Myers, well dressed and visiting the exhibit as a specially invited attendee.
He was the one, he stole his mother's life, her possessions, even her innocence. He took away Oswald's entire world, that vile rotten bastard, and used his wealth and status to avoid his well deserved punishment. He was now here browsing an art exhibit like it never happened, just another day for this slimy monster of a man. Who else had he hurt? Who else fell victim to this horrible beast?
The anger and sadness inside of Oswald burned so intensely he felt like he could burn the entire world to cinders and ash, sharp pain stabbed at his chest and his vision blurred with red. While the guests were gathered to converse and suck up to spoiled Senator's son, Oswald dared to climb the Minotaur, all senses of self preservation fleeing himself, and managed to loosen one of its sharp horns.
Unable to think, Oswald marched forward and inched his way through the crowd going unnoticed, until he got close enough and charged forward, screaming in a fit of pure hate. Before Paul could even turn, he jammed the horn clean into the back of Paul’s skull, piercing through to the other side in an explosion of blood and brain, the tip coming out through his right eye socket. The guests screamed in horror and fled in fear as Oswald continuously stabbed at Paul’s already dead corpse, gouging and ripping neck open down to his chest, turning his innards into a raw pile of bloody flesh and gristle.
Before the police could arrive, the building around him changed and all exits slammed shut. The exhibit darkened, windows frosted over, and he felt an intense heat coming from within the exhibit. The metal Minotaur now had a piercing red glow in it’s eyes, and emitted a heat one could even feel burning without even needing to touch. Oswald got up from his freshly gored victim and felt the intense desire to walk towards the Bull exhibit. He stared into its eyes and felt his burning hate become sharpened and focused, like the Bull itself was reflecting Oswald’s own rage and pain back into himself. He saw a vision, a vision from his past up until this point, all the ones who wronged him flashed in a sea of misery and hate, every beating, every wrongdoing, every undeserved ounce of anguish Oswald had to suffer because he dared to be born in a world where the strong prey on the weak.
A sudden sharp pain filled his head and forced Oswald to the ground, his eyes closed and flooded with tears, it was the second worst pain he had ever felt. Suddenly the pain ceased just as quickly as it came, and when he opened his eyes again, he saw his own body on the ground next to Paul's, covered in Paul’s blood and not moving. Oswald felt different, he was taller, his vision sharper, he felt strong. He felt his hate bursting from within like a raging inferno of pain and ruin, and he felt a foreign presence beckon him to release it on whomever crossed his path.
He was now that same Bull from the exhibit, burning viciously and stomping where he pleased like an unstoppable force. He lumbered over to his butchered victim and tore the bloody horn out from Paul’s caved chest cavity, leaving an empty shell of a man with properly mushed and hollowed insides. A fitting end to a worthless man, Oswald only wishes he made him suffer far, far worse.
The inferno in his heart was not yet satiated. The rule of being a bully is that you only pick on those who can do you no harm.
Now as the Bull, Oswald can harm whomever he pleases. Those who once cackled and spited him will now become a bloody pile of viscera and carnage beneath his hooves, before being burned to an unrecognizable ash.
POWER:
The Bull is a hateful Killer, boasting strength and flame seeping from it’s nostrils. The Bull can charge it’s horned head towards survivors, injuring them and inflicting deep wounds. The Bull has a rage meter that will fill based on how many times he is stunned, blinded, or each time a generator is complete (5 times in total combined with any mentioned). When the rage meter is filled, flames will burst from his horns, nostrils, hooves and weapon. When charging he will leave behind a trail of flames, and survivors who step in them or injured via his weapon or horns will scream and have the BURNED status effect inflicted on them. Generators kicked or lockers opened by The Bull while enflamed will be heated for 25 seconds, and will inflict BURNED on any survivor who touches it.
BURNED survivors perform all actions 10% slower and cannot perform fast window vaults, BURNED lasts for 120 seconds, the time is cut in half if they are at full health or healed to full health.
PERKS:
All I See is Red: Your vision is blurred with hate. Survivors who blind or stun you will suffer from exposed for 25 seconds. This has a 45 second cooldown.
"It’s really him… that monster… goddamned bastard, what did she ever do to deserve that…?"
Grudge Match: You'll never forgive those who wronged you. For every time you are stunned or blinded, gain a token, up to a max of 4. Tokens make you recover from stuns and blinds 10% faster per token. Consume all tokens by hitting a hooked survivor, draining 8% of their Hook health bar per token in the process. This makes them the Obsession.
"I’ll make him regret being born, that swine, that vile creature, I will make him SUFFER."
Thrill of the Kill: You will burn everything around you to ash. Every time a generator is complete, injured survivors will scream, reveal their location to you for 4 seconds, and suffer from the Broken status effect for 25 seconds.
"He took everything from me. I’ll kill him, I’ll kill his family. I’ll maim them, they will never have rest. They’ll cry out for death, they will beg for it’s release before I make that bastard watch as I send them to the deepest pits of Hell."
MORI:
The Bull charges at a survivor as they get up and attempt to flee, goring them onto his horns and lifting them in the air as they cry out in pain. After briefly shaking them around, he lets out a mighty roar and released an inferno from his horns and nostrils, burning them to a crisp from the inside out as they scream in agony. The Mori ends with him prying them off his horns and slamming them into the ground violently.
