An idea to fix locked animation abuse which could create a new mindgame.

I think a problem they should work on fixing is - killer being locked in animation as that can be abused pretty badly, like for instance when interacting/breaking pallets or picking up a survor. This is something that you as a killer curretly cannot avoid if you're locked in animation.

I think the issue at the pallets could be reduced by giving the pallets durability, where a main attack from the killer would reduce it's durability significantly, and once it's durability reaches zero, it's broken. Main attack recovery time should be made faster in regards to this - the break pallet option could still be retained as a mechanic. Making this change would allow for the killer to avoid getting blinded while being locked in animation, this would also allow for the killer break the pallets over time rather than immediately, which could set up a pallet mind game thats not currently present, by making it's duration available to the killer and not the survivors. Because this way the survivors won't know if a pallet is about to break, unless they've specifically seen the killer taking swings at the pallet in question. Furthermore, it could also be made so durability also decreases slightly when a survivor vaults over, likewise when dropping the pallet it could take a variable amount of durability damage, and I certainly think it should be possible for it being destroyed when being dropped, it should just be a very low probability - making it less secure to use pallets and creating more mindgame. Another thing I think they should consider, is significantly increasing the recovery time for hit and missed main attacks, especially while considering that the survivor after taking hit gets a speed boost but the killer gets slowed.

In regards to how they could fix the locked animation when picking up a survivor, is to make it possible to actually still move and turn while picking up a survivor, albeit at a slower speed.

What do you think guys and gals think?
