I was downed right under a hook, with Decisive Strike, against Bubba, and he picked me up. The white area of the skillcheck appeared at 12 o'clock, and because of that, he had the time to press space bar before DS functioned, and I was hooked.

This is a bug, right?

    Nope, not a Bug. Intended, was alwaysl ike this. Once the Killer gets the prompt to hook and starts the animation, it does not matter if the Survivor wiggles to the end, hits DS, the Killer gets blinded, etc.
