With the new matchmaking system, the game became unplayable!
The matchmaking does not work correctly! Actually the matchmaking is the most terrible matchmaking I´ve seen in over 20 years of gaming! Sorry to say it that way, but from my point of view the situation is that serious, it might be the one big problem that kills this game to the point it can´t recover!
Some people have good matchmaking and fair games. That good! But also some people, like me, have an extreme bad experience with the new system! My chancec to have a good and fair game as Solo Surv are like 5-10%. I recorded a lot and looked how many games are fair in terms of balanced skill between survs and killer. And unfortunally it´s only one or two out of 20 games. The other matches the matchmaking mostly is throwing killers with enormus amount of experience, against some okay-skilled casual players. And mostly a group of Solos with 100-500 hrs can´t do much about someone with 2000-5000 hrs of experience. I looked up most profiles, or asked the players how many hrs they have.
I also tryed playing killer, but things look ridiculously worse there! I´m a Surv main and I´m not good with killer, but still I played mostly against SWF teams with also 2000-5000hrs of experience, each. I only played against Solos on my Skill lvl in very very very rare cases. I didn´t even try to play more killer, since the matchmaking was so unbalanced, I was lucky to get one player at the hook all game! So playing killer felt like a 2-3% chance to get at lest 2 kills, but I didn´t play too much, because my user experience was more than terrible!
After 800hrs in this game I got some okay-good skills, even if I´m not the best. And I´m also not asking for easy games! But I got a good feeling for the balancing of a match, after all that time. And a good matchmaking would make mostly fair games, wich would be noticable. But since the new sbmm system is here, it´s super unfair the very most time! Even worst than before. I´m aksing for fair games. But the Matchmaking seems to have some meta-data on my profile, that makes it think I´m a gamer-god who can keep up with people I actually have no chance against. Not even a little bit!
And since i spend a lot of queue time in steam forums, I´ve seen a lot of people experiencing similar things. So you must take this meta data and delete it! Or change it, so it somehow, I don´t know. But you must do something about this problem! From my point of view thats the only way to maybe make this system make fair games for those, who´s user experience is that outstanding terrible at the moment, they are close to finally quit the game! And even without having numbers on how many players are in this situation, I´m sure it´s a big part of the players!
I like the game and i wan´t it to be fun again! Otherwise I´d not write this problem report. But if this problem won´t be fixed, I have no other option but to stop playing it and never return.
