Does mmr go down after not playing in a while?
So i mained Legion since they came out. Last 9 months or so i put them a bit on the side because of breaks and trying some other killers.
Now i got the feral frenzy itch again and started playing them again and i noticed that the survivors that my Legion faces are waaaay better then the ones any of my other killers face.
2 days ago i faced someone who already was iri 1. Several others were iri grade as well. And yes i know grades/ranks typically don't matter but reaching iri 1 after a couple of days bassicly means someone who plays this game for a living.
Now i am quite flatered the system thinks my Legion is good enough to face such players but the rust is making it quite hard.
This is not me complaining about it but being curious. If i play a killer till i reach the high mmr and then don't play them for a year will they still be in high mmr?

In the earlier versions of the system it was confirmed to not decay over time.
I don't think the devs ever said whether that's still the case in the live version.
Presumably not. Theres ample evidence from posts here and heresay elsewhere that even if you lose consistently, your MMR will not decrease. If even losing does not decrease it, it is highly unlikely it decays over time.
Hopefully, but either way they reset the data after the last test so any killer you haven't played since then should be at your minimum.
That's a lie, because mine did and I've not shut up about it.
I suspect that people simply think that losing ten trials is enough. That's never been enough, not even with the rank system.
Ample is a strong word for anecdotal evidence that defies logic and reasoning. I do not trust a lot of the extremists here who think they have high mmr just because they are getting smacked. Or that they lost "40 in a row" as the same killer. With these queues? Yeah right.
