Possible face camping solution?
So face camping, and no i don't mean when the killer is in the area of a hooked survivor looking around and such or setting up traps. I mean when a killer hooks a survivor and proceeds to stare the in the eyes until they either get sacrificed or someone tries to unhook them, waits until the unhooking animation is just hitting it's end and then hits them before either survivor can move.
Weather you're a killer main or survivor main, or maybe play oth i can't really see this being a fun way to play the game. You're either spending you're game on the hook having a staring contest with the killer or you're basically throwing you're game to secure a single kill most likely because you're mad at something the survivor did.
Now I don't think "camping" needs to be erased all together but just this hardcore, near afk face camping.
My suggestion here is a ring around the hook, once survivor is hook a small (i mean very small) ring will appear and push the killer (and any downed survivors you cheesy bastards) away from the hook. Just enough space to stand in front of it to unhook. Once a survivor enters this ring they have 1 maybe 2 seconds to begin unhooking or it will vanish. Once they've unhooked they once again get like 1 or 2 seconds before the ring vanishes (once again no healing in front of the killer you cheesy jerks).
The purpose of this is so that killers can still lay around hook if they want but now survivors at least have like a second or two to re-position to body block or at least start moving. After all we can't flashlight blind a killer until like 0.5 seconds after the animation as finished (which is fair) so perhaps we should prevent the killer from being able to down an unhooked survivor before they've even been able to move. (the animation prevents damage but if they swing just as it ends you'll be downed before movement is returned to you, it's unfortunate when it happens)
tune in next week for a new idea: survivors that t-bag or click-click at exit gates spontaneously explode?
