  • Evidently you don't know this community quite as well as you think

  • More like people abusing the sbmm metric to play specifically towards losing mmr so average players have to play against more experienced players who just want easy matches again

  • Considering that people abusing the matchmaking system by having a low rank person in their swf to get matched against lower ranked killers was a thing, you are highly underestimating the desire for people to have easy games is.

No invisible mmr stops the afk killer from deranking. Or the survivor from suiciding, creating a smurf. People will abuse the MMR for easier matches without knowing their rating, some are doing it even right now. So the rating doesnt really matter in this regard.

The only problem with knowing this metrics, is the opposite. For example if for some reason, a metric would say a good killer keeps everyone injured and this would give you a lot of mmr, suddenly sloppy would be top meta. And the devs want different playstyles: hit-and-run, tunneling, camping, 3gen, find-chase-hook-repeat, etc.
