Some players don't like new mmr system because they feel every match will be sweaty. So I think dbd needs one other game mode and my idea is a draft mode. The mode would be you pick from randomly selected perks for each of your 4 perks for both killer and survivor. the killer can be chosen by player. You could offer extra blood points or some other type of reward for playing the game mode.

    some people don't realize that if you suck, you are paired with people who also suck. SBMM will never purposely try to match you with 'sweaty' (because that means something only to DBD players) people if you aren't sweaty yourself.
