Does Open Handed work with Alert?

According to the wiki, no. I've heard otherwise, though. I was hoping a dev could give a definitive answer. And if it doesn't, why not?

    It makes sense, the perk doesnt grant you aura reading unless a certain condition is met. That condition being the Killer breaking a gen.

    The range of the aura read itself is infinite if the Killer decides to go to the either said of the map quickly, therefore open handed doesnt affect it. It would not increase the range of the ACTIVATION, which is what I think you want it to do.

    Yeah that makes sense. I just think both perks could use the buff.
