At What Cost? - A survivor perk idea to help with sticky basement situations
Name: At What Cost?
Description: If you are in the dying state at any elevation other than the main level of the map, you may press the Active Ability button to activate “At What Cost?”. Activating this perk calls upon the Entity to drag you underground and transport you to a random location on the main level of the map. You will remain in the dying state and your bleed-out timer will be reduced by 70%/60%/50% of what remained when you activated the perk. “At What Cost?” Can only be activated once per match.
I worded this description to intentionally allow survivors some control over the requirements. You can activate the perk at high or low elevation (ie mountain or basement). If you are slugged on the main level, you can crawl to a different elevation to activate the perk.
Using this perk is very risky since you lose as significant portion of your bleed out timer and there is no guarantee that your new location will be near teammates. Best used in dire situations such as basement parties!
It will be up to the devs to decide which level counts as the “main level” for maps like Gideon.

Met a few Bubbas and Trappers today (mostly Bubbas) where things could’ve gone very differently if someone had this perk equipped!
