Early Escape glitch?
I was just in a match and one survivor escaped early in the trail without opening the doors or using a key, the hatch hadn't even spawned yet.

Probably just a hacker.
Their favorite disappearing trick is "clipping through the exit gate and escaping instantly".
Hack or a glitch. Both are equally probable.
