Fix the Stretched Resolution Exploit
Stretched resolution is an exploit, and a nasty one at that. It gives Survivors too much advantage and awareness of Killers when they shouldn't have that advantage in the first place. It removes the ability for Killers to mindgame and perform things that should normally work.
So, here's how you SHOULD fix it:
- For all players, a very faint fog will be present on all four sides of the screen.
- Whenever a player attempts to stretch their resolution, this fog extends outward, obscuring the player's view in complete, total darkness past the intended resolution.
What this does is simply make stretched resolution for this game practically unusable and unappealing to use in the slightest, and would ultimately force players trying to exploit a flaw in the game's design to their advantage to actually play the game like everybody else.
Additionally, I would like to recommend that any players, especially prominent ones, caught using this exploit be either banned temporarily, or banned permanently from the game and any associated tournaments. This would serve as what is basically a lesson to all players attempting to circumvent the natural flow of the game that this will not be tolerated in the slightest.
No player should have this advantage if all players can't.
