PC and PS4 Crossprogression help

I'm a STEAM player, I have all the DLC's and I'm a bit advanced. I bought a PS4 a little while ago and I'm thinking about buying the DBD for it, but my question is: When they activate crossprogression, how will it work? Will my most upgraded account replace the one on the PS4? Will the experience be "fused" or something? Can I play DBD on my PS4 without being afraid?

    Are you aware of the current problems that dbd has on last gen consoles (including ps4)? Severe freezing issues whenever some action takes place since the resi chapter.

    I wish you saved money for a better pc or next gen console my friend.

    there no crossprogression for ps4 and I don't know if it ever will be I hope it happens.
