Whoever designed Nemesis and PH

Can you enlighten us please on how to play against / counter the powers?

Thank you!

  • Hold w, pre-throw pallets or die.

And pray your teammates are slamming gens.

  • PH: Hold W until you get to a window or pallet and die

Nemisis: Hold W until you get to a window or pallet except you can actually dodge it

I know! It’s like bhvr has zero idea how to play their own game. 🤔 seriously, often wonder what they’re thinking.

  • Thanks guys, I thought I was the only one going crazy here. This game and its latest designs are total [BAD EFFING WORD].

PreDropping palets on maps that have 8 palets and huge dead zones isn't a smart idea either. It is becoming rush the gens and escape if your teammates have a brain, other than that, it is pretty much hopeless.

  • For PH, if you're running towards a pallet and he's dragging his knife and is close enough that he will get you if he cancels his power, run into the pallet and wait for him to get to where you are, lingering around at the edge of the pallet. Make sure you have the drop pallet prompt, and have a little bit of room to dodge a punishment if he goes for it.

Once you two are very close to each other, and PH is in the pallet stun zone, he will either cancel the power or shoot. If he shoots you can just dodge due to the small hitbox, poor turning and telegraphed attack, and if he cancels you have enough time to run in and drop the pallet, stunning him. Keep in mind your positioning needs to be on point to stop him from blocking the pallet, and your timing also needs to be good in order to stun him in the 1.5~ second window where he can't attack. Too early and you might not catch him in the stun, too late and you might get hit through the pallet.

Windows are harder, but the basic principle still applies. Wait near the window until he cancels the power, then IMMEDIATELY vault. You normally have enough time to make it before he can hit, especially if you get a fast vault. Be careful for shots though, but again, those are pretty simple to dodge. Windows are much less safe against PH though, especially a patient PH, so I'd rely on these less.

These aren't foolproof, no counterplay really is, but these tactics really help in the so-called "lose-lose" situation. Helps me, anyway - PH is my favourite killer to verse.

Of course, this doesn't really work in choke points and tight corridors, but you weren't going to be dodging it anyway in these cases. Same with hatchets and every other type of special attack.

  • As someone who mains Pyramid Head and plays Nemesis periodically, run to the window/pallet, and then IF you hear them readying their M2, immediately dodge to the left/right. 8/10 times they'll throw their power, then you can throw the pallet/vault the window with no fear of injury (although if it's Nemesis and you're not infected, just tank the infection, you get a speed boost).

That’s why you need to avoid getting into a chase in the first place against either of these killers. Accept that a chase will eventually end at a vault or pallet because of what their powers can do, so up your stealth game beforehand.

You've got to fake window and pallet vaults so they waste their power and have to go through their cooldowns. Dont try to run them mindlessly like other killers and actually pay attention to what they're doing. PH can get anyone out of the game fast so try to make sure hooks/cages are spread among the team. Whenever Nemesis charges his power he's slower than survivors so bait him into thinking he'll get a hit if you see he really wants to tier up and you'll make distance.

With BBQ and so many aura perks, bright maps, it's impossible to stealth. I've literally had a killer see me in a bush on the Deathslinger map.

The devs have removed absolutely all stealth from the game, but give survivors nothing to work with to defend against the killer.

    Why you were hiding?

Yes, stealth is difficult, but not entirely impossible. I manage to stealth with noisy No Mither often, without being useless by doing nothing either.
