Is farming bannable?

Just got into a game where the killer just wanted to farm and my teammates agreed, but i just wanted to play the game. So my teammates started farming and i worked the gens, at the last gen the killer started tunneling me and my teammates unhooked me right in front of the killer, so the killer could get me out of the game since they all knew i didnt want to farm...

Is this really not bannable? This was worse than getting face camped..

Sorry for terrible english :)

  • If you force anyone to farm, that is bannable.

But if everyone happy with farming, it is not bannable.

  • If someone doesn't want to farm they can do generators and choose not to participate. Tunneling is specifically listed as not reportable. Just go to the next game and move on. Games like that are pretty rare (at least in my experience).

How do you "force" someone to farm? You always have a choice to not participate.

An example of "force": The killer and the other survivors are working together. Survivors block the exit gate switches so you can't leave even after all the gens are done. You just want to leave and go back and forth between each gate, making it clear you want to leave. The killer hooks you and only you. Teabag party. You get unhooked. You run. The one non-blocking survivor leads the killer to you. They hook you again. Teabag party. You get unhooked again. The survivors now all bodyblock you against the hook. You get hooked and die.

That sounds hilar... I mean terrible

  • Hilarious in hindsight. At the time, I was ready to eat my keyboard in rage.
